ABBA Book Tag

I was tagged by Alyssa at The Devil Orders Takeout to do The ABBA Book Tag! I had never listened to ABBA before, so that was a new discovery!

Take a Chance on Me: a book you unexpectedly liked.

I don't really read anything that I'd expect to dislike, but The Selection by Kiera Cass left me pleasantly surprised.

The Winner Takes it All: an overhyped book.

Eh, I have to go with The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I don't think they're bad; not at all. But I still don't understand all the hype surrounding them.

Waterloo: an amazing historical fiction book.

Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson was just STELLAR. Hopefully I'll get a review up soon.

Plus, look at the cover!

You're Only a Child: a recently published book.

Winter by Marissa Meyer! Great series end, but now I'm experiencing Post-Lunar-Chronicles-Depression. :(

I Have a Dream: a favorite 'ideal' book.

The Night Circus. I wish I could write like Erin Morgenstern.

Dancing Queen: a book with royalty.

I'm going to copy Alyssa and say The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh.

Lay All Your Love on Me: a book that needs more attention.

The Mark of Zorro by Johnston McCulley. This is a classic that more people need to read!

Here We Go Again: a book that seemed to copy another book.

Eh. I'm not even going there.

S.O.S.: a book that should get in trouble and NOT be rescued.

Beauty and the Beast by Jenni James. I love fairy tales, and there are certainly worse reads than this, but I just remember feeling a deep disappointment.

Knowing Me, Knowing You: a book you know a lot about for whatever reason.

The Harry Potter series! By the ever so brilliant J.K. Rowling. I don't think I've ever lost at Harry Potter Scene It....

Yay, Harry Potter! (source)
I tag Bailey, Lauren, and Opal!

    1. Yes! After the Lunar Chronicles I'll probably read everything Marissa Meyer publishes from now on!

  2. Actually, I remember fondly the one time I beat you at Harry Potter scene it. It was the only time. But it made my life feel more complete.

  3. Ooh, Winter! I just finished a binge read of the other books in the series and now I'm desperate to get my hands on Winter and gobble that one up too. The Lunar Chronicles is such a good series! I've heard really great things about The Night Circus, but I haven't managed to read that one either. Might be time to go steal-er, borrow some more books from the library methinks!

  5. I'm with you: Winter is a great book and I couldn't stop reading! I can't wait for Stars Above to be released. Marissa Meyer's writing just keeps getting better and better! I think Throne of Glass is pretty interesting, but the series is starting to fall downhill, sadly. :( Awesome post!

  6. This is such a fun tag! I really want to read Walk on Earth a Stranger; the setting sounds so interesting! I also need to catch up on the Lunar Chronicles; I read Cinder when it first came out but I've yet to pick up the sequels, lol.
